March Madness takes over Golden 1 Center with the NCAA Women’s Basketball Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight, Father John Misty brings orchestral indie grandeur to Channel 24, Calum Scott packs Ace of Spades, a Queen tribute rocks the Crest, and Shen Yun dazzles downtown. 🏀 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Regionals

Friday, Mar 27 – Monday, Mar 30

March Madness takes over downtown Sacramento as Golden 1 Center hosts Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight rounds of the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship. Eight teams battle it out across four days with two advancing to the Women’s Final Four. Sacramento hosts two of the tournament’s four regionals, with South Carolina and UCLA entering as the respective top seeds — expect upsets, buzzer-beaters, and electric energy from the Sactown crowd. This is the fourth year of the expanded regional format. Sessions tip off Friday 3/27 at 4:30 PM, Saturday 3/28 at 2:00 PM, Sunday 3/29 at 12:00 PM, and Monday 3/30 at 6:00 PM — doors open at 1:00 PM each day. All ages welcome.
